The following are regular up-dates of the action from Fancourt:

18.15: Robert Allenby and Mike Weir have halved the final hole to ensure the whitewash for the Internationals. Weir / Allenby beat DiMarco / Leonard 1 up, to win the last possible point on offer for Day three of the Presidents Cup.

It has been an unbelievable day for Gary Player and his team.

They have pulled themselves back from the disappointment of Friday afternoon's foursomes, to put in a superb showing in today's fourballs.

The Internationals have taken a commanding lead going into tomorrow's singles matches.

Overall Points: INT 12½ - USA 9½.

The Internationals will start the day as favourites, but as is evident after today's annihilation, anything is possible. It should be a cracking final day.

18.00: The Internationals are one step closer to whitewashing their American counterparts. Stuart Appleby holed his par putt on the seventeenth to halve the hole and win 2 and 1 against Davis Love III and David Toms.

17.30: It's 4 - 0. Goosen and Singh won the seventeenth hole to secure a 2 and 1 win over Woods and Howell. Gary Player looks absolutely delighted with the way his side have played themselves back into the drivers seat... and so he should be.

The Internationals have played fantastic golf in today's fourballs. They lead in the remaining two matches still out on the course and have the opportunity to whitewash the Americans.

17.00: The Internationals now lead in the three remaining matches out on the course. Singh / Goosen won the fifteenth and they are 1 up over the much fancied American pairing of Woods / Howell.

16.45: It's another win for the Internationals as Ernie Els rolls in an eagle at the par five sixteenth hole. Els and fellow South African, Tim Clark win 3 and 2 over Jim Furyk and Jay Haas.

16.30: KJ Choi and Adam Scott have secured the first point of the third day of the Presidents Cup. The International pairing won the fourteenth hole and with it, their match against Jerry Kelly and Kenny Perry 5 and 4.

Peter Lonard's birdie putt on the seventeenth shaves the cup but par is still good enough to win the hole and the match. Leaney / Lonard win 2 and 1 against Maickelson / Funk.

Thats the second point of the day for the Internationals.

16.15: Phil Mickelson chips in on the par five sixteenth for a birdie that manages to keep the Americans in the match and halve the hole. Lonard / Leaney are 1 up with two to play against Mickelson / Funk.

16.00: Vijay Singh holds his nerve to make par at the twelfth. Singh and Retief Goosen are All Square in their match against Tiger Woods and Charles Howell III. It is the only match that the Internationals do not lead at the moment.

One would think that the Internationals have at least three definite matches wrapped up. Els / Clark are 3 up with four to play. Scott / Choi are 4 up with six to play and Weir / Allenby are 4 up with seven to play.

15.15: The Internationals continue to dominate proceedings at Fancourt. They now lead in five of the six matches.

Lonard and Leaney have won the thirteenth hole to move 1 up against Mickelson and Funk. It caps a marvellous comeback from the Australian duo.

Scott and Choi lost the tenth and are now 4 up over Kelly / Kenny.

Els and Clark remain 3 up through eleven holes in their match against Jim Furyk and Jay Haas.

14.30: Gary Player seems to have found his combinations as the Internationals are playing inspired golf at The Links this afternoon.

Lead by Adam Scott and KJ Choi who are 5 up in their match against Jerry Kelly and Kenny Perry, the Rest Of The World team lead in four of the six matches, whilst the remaining two contests are All Square.

Ernie Els and Tim Scott have held onto their 3 up lead through the front nine, whilst Lonard and Leaney won the par five ninth to bring the first fourball back to All Square.

14.00: Peter Lonard and Stephan Leaney have pulled back a hole in their match against Mickelson and Funk. The US pair are 1 up through eight holes.

Els and Clark seem instoppable at the moment. They have won the short eighth, to move to 4 up over Haas and Furyk.

The front nine of todays fourballs definitely is belonging to the Internationals. They lead in four of the six matches. Whatever Captain Player said over dinner last night has done the trick.

13.30: Els and Clark have extended their lead to 3 up, after winning the fourth against Jim Furyk and Jay Haas.

Goosen and Singh won the third to go 2 up, but Woods and Howell have managed to win the fourth hole to remain only 1 behind.

The penultimate match is rather unusual for the scoring that we've seen this morning. Mike Weir and Robert Allenby have halved the first four holes in their match against Justin Leonard and Chris DiMarco.

13.00: Goosen and Singh won the par three second hole to go 1 up over Woods and Howell.

The last of the six fourballs have teed off. Staurt Appleby will be hoping to improve on his form from yesterday in his match against Davis Love III and David Toms. Appleby is partnered by Zimbabwe's Nick Price. The final match is All Square through the first.

12.30: March on Els and Clark. They have won the second hole and are 2 up through two holes.

Mickelson / Funk have won the third hole and increased their lead to 2 up over Australians, Leaney / Lonard.

Adam Scott and KJ Choi make up the third pairing for the Internationals and for the third match in succession the first hole has not been halved. Choi / Scott birdie for a 1 up lead against Kenny Perry and Jerry Kelly.

Retief Goosen and Vijay Singh have just teed off in the fourth match of the day against Tiger Woods and Charles Howell. Woods and Howell have played together in each of their matches to date. The first hole was halved. All Square through 1 hole.

12.00: The American pairing of Phil Mickelson and Fred Funk birdied the par four first to go 1 up over Stephan Leaney and Peter Lonard.

In the second fourball of the day, the South African partnership of Tim Clark and Ernie Els, which proved a winning combination yesterday morning, have got off to a great start. A birdie on the first has put them 1 up over Jim Furyk and Jay Haas.
