Retief Goosen, the tournament leader by three and only player under par, will play Sunday's final round of his defence of his US Open title with the pudgy, little-known surprise-package Jason Gore.

Olin Browne, who shares second place at level par with Gore, is in the second but last group to tee-off with New Zealand's Michael Campbell.

Peter Hedblom who posted a course record 66 in the second round and kept himself in the chasing pack on Saturday, is paired with World No 1 Tiger Woods in what should be an important experience for the up-and-coming young Swede.

Leading Brit Lee Westwood is paired with Korean star KJ Choi and Sergio Garcia, Europe's high world ranked golfer at No 6 with Australian young gun Adam Scott.
